WHAT WE BELIEVE
Doctrinal Statement - Affirmation of Faith

We Believe that God is the Father Almighty,
And He is the Maker of Heaven and Earth as
the Scriptures have said.
We Believe in Jesus, That He is the Christ
And is the Only Begotten Son of the Father.
He is The Way, The Truth and The Life.
He was Conceived by the Holy Ghost,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered Under Pontius Pilate,
Was Crucified, Dead and Buried.
On the Third Day, He Rose From the Dead and Declared
Victory Over the Grave, Death and Hell.
The Ordinance of Baptism

"One Lord, one faith, one baptism." - Ephesians 4:5
"Know ye not that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism unto death that like as Christ was raised up from the dead bt the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." - Romans 6:3,4
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward conviction. It is a public moment when a believer acknowledges who they are in Christ. Baptism is an announcement to the world that by faith I am crucified with Christ, and I shall be resurrected by God the Father.
We believe in baptism by immersion (one must be completely covered by water) as according to Matthew 3:11-13 and Mark 1:5. In water baptism we accomplish two major things. We honor the commandment of God that we be baptized and we state to the world we believe in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe there are four essentials for the ordinance of baptism to be administered.
1. There must be a proper subject ( a saved person).
2. There must be a proper authority (a church of the Lord Jesus Christ).
3. There must be a proper purpose (to show salvation).
4. There must be a proper mode (baptism by immersion).
The Ordinance of the Holy Communion (The Lords Supper)

"Take eat; this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in rememberance of me. This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in rememberance of me" - I Corintians 11:24,25
Holy Communion is a memorial of Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. It is a time of remembrance. We are to remember Jesus gave Himself as the Perfect Lamb of God to be crufified for our sins. We are to remember in his sacrificial work on the cross Christ has redeemed us from the penalty of our sins.
"For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, we shew the Lord's death till He come." - I Corinthians 11:26.
The Holy Communion is an experience that reminds us the Lord shall return. The Great Hope of our lives, the coming of the Lord Jesus, is portrayed in the Holy Commmunion.
Holy Communion is a worship service unlike any other. It brings to mind and stirs up in us what Jesus has done for mankind. It is an ordinance of the church for those who are saved. Therefore anyone who has not accepted Christ as his/her savior should not partake in Holy Communion.
Salvation

Salvation is defined as the free gift of God for every man, woman, boy, and girl in the world, if they will receive it.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:9,10
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast - Ephesians 2:8,9
Sanctification

Sanctification is setting ourselves apart from the world according to Romans 12 verses 1 and 2. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. The sancticifation process requires the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17), Prayer (Luke 18:9-14), Fellowship (Hebrews 10:25) and Prayer and fasting (Matthew 6:16-18; Matthew 17:20,21)
Stewardship

AStewad is defined as one who is an overseer (manager); one who is serving or attending to a house on an estate.
